People will usually go for the default lease offered by the manufacturer, which is normally 48 months. (Some companies like Mercedes Benz or BMW go for 45 or 39 month leases.) But often overlooked is that sometimes you can get a 42, 36, or even 24 month lease for almost the same monthly, or even the same monthly. Sometimes manufacturers incent these short term leases to get sales going, or to get attention, It could be anything. At UW2U we keep a close eye on these leases. For awhile, Hyundai was offering 24 month leases - now discontinued - that were awesome. Honda regularily offers 42 months at the same price as their 48 month leases.
